| Brendan
is the tenor singer and manager of "Arise", and comes to the group out
of Garner, NC. Early in his life, Brendan was exposed to the word
and the love of God through Southern Gospel music. His father, Charles
Parker, had ministered with several groups since the late 50s.
Paying close attention to one particular group that his father had sung
with, "The Sojourners Quartet", Brendan had the hunger to learn all about
music and singing. Brendan soon got his first drum set for Christmas
one year and played just a few concerts with his father's group at 12 years
old. At the age of 14, Brendan learned how to play the guitar and
started playing with The Sojourners until the group ended in 1994.
After the group ended, Brendan strayed away from the gospel and started
playing and singing Rock and Roll. Thank God that in March of 2001,
Brendan rededicated his life to God and decided to start living his life
for the Lord once again. After following his heart, he started a
Southern Gospel trio called "Fortress". After making the decision
to leave Fortress, he felt the calling to start a new group and this time
call it "Arise".Brendan has a wonderful and supportive wife, Jamie, who
has just recently given her life back to the Lord. He also has two
beautiful daughters, Blakely and Gracelyn, who have taught him so much
about life and responsibility and just how wonderful our God is.
Brendan and his family attend Victory Fellowship Church in Garner, NC.
Please pray for Brendan in his journey to see lives changed, and join him
in praising the Lord.
